Dr. Matthew Cooper, MD, a distinguished figure in the field of transplantation, is the Chief of Transplantation, Director of Solid Organ Transplant and a Professor of Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is passionate about improving living donation by addressing barriers and ensuring donor safety. Dr. Cooper's expertise lies in kidney and pancreas transplantation, with a focus on innovative approaches and minimizing complications. His influence extends globally through leadership positions in transplantation organizations and consulting with global organizations on best practices.

Ryan Ehrensberger is the chief strategy officer at UNOS. He spearheads the development and execution of forward-thinking initiatives, ensuring that both UNOS and the global donation and transplant community are primed to meet the challenges of the future. Beyond steering the strategic and operational direction of the organization, he oversees international and domestic partnerships.

Dr. Ryan Ehrensberger, PhD, FACHE

Liz Friddell leads the Site Survey team at UNOS. She oversees the vital task of conducting compliance reviews for all transplant hospitals and organ procurement organizations. She is passionate about developing partnerships to innovate healthcare across the globe.

Casey Humphries is the portfolio strategy manager at UNOS. She drives the planning and implementation of various services to provide value and growth to the transplant ecosystem and broader healthcare. Humphries blends innovation and practical problem-solving skills to introduce new tools, standards, practices, products, and services that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of global healthcare and healthcare standards. She explores emerging technologies, like AI, tissue engineering, and drones to advance the global donation and transplant field and supports international partnerships.

Maureen McBride is the CEO of UNOS and oversees the U.S. donation and transplant system under contract with the federal government, new policy development and implementation, IT enhancements, innovation, data collection and research, advocacy, and collaboration and engagement with industry and public health partners. McBride is focused on creating more equitable systems that provide a transplant for everyone in need.

Jeffrey Orlowski is the president and CEO of LifeShare Network, Inc. With nearly 40 years of experience, he holds key roles on a variety of national and international donation and transplant committees and boards. Orlowski has co-authored peer-reviewed articles and has delivered lectures in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He’s a recognized leader in advancing wellness and organ donation, having received prestigious awards for his contributions to the field.

Amanda Young is the membership and performance improvement manager at UNOS, focusing on advancing organ availability and transplantation through performance improvement initiatives to ensure the optimal utilization of organ transplants. She is deeply committed to strengthening quality and performance, fostering collaboration among diverse professionals to devise innovative solutions that enhance healthcare delivery, patient safety, and the overall patient experience across the globe.

Andrew Klein is the Chief Medical Officer of UNOS. He serves as an expert medical and clinical resource to UNOS, the donation and transplant community, and the general public. He collaborates with UNOS teams on research projects and publications and provides medical and clinical perspectives in UNOS corporate initiatives.
